Augusta Warrior Project

Augusta Warrior Project needs your help.  On this year’s 15th anniversary of 9/11, we are asking local churches and faith communities to help us continue to do our work in our community by making a special collection during that weekend’s church service to benefit AWP.  Your thoughtful gift will allow AWP to maintain and grow the support networks that it takes to continue to serve those who served. The Augusta Warrior Project is a local non-profit organization that connects Veterans, Service Members, and their Families – with resources to help improve their lives. AWP serve all Warriors, of all eras, from all branches of service, wounded or not.  AWP currently serves 17 counties in the greater Augusta area of Georgia and South Carolina, including Aiken.

In 2015 AWP served 2703 Warriors, enrolled 393 Veterans in education, helped 100 Veterans find stable housing, assisted 328 Veterans with finding employment, and enrolled 730 in VA Benefits.  All of which couldn’t have been done without the generous support of our donors and community partners. All donations to AWP stay local and help the Warriors and their families in our area.  We will receive an offering on September 11th.
